I think that we should allow for the following changes with the mid-level exception:
- The mid-level exception can be extended by up to two more seasons by the All-Star Break
- The salary structure would be: Year 1: $4,500,000 Year 2: $4,950,000 Year 3: $5,400,000
- ALL players signed to the mid-level exception can be traded before the trade deadline
- Free agent players can be signed for the mid-level exception in-season at any time if the mid-level exception was not used during the free agency period

MLE's will now be able to be traded...however if you trade you're MLE player, you will not be able to sign another that season
